CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Nursing or "sparking" lamp; cylindrical oil reservoir set on wider, hollow disk base; top of cylinder forms ridge then tapers up to round threaded mouth; round, flat cap screws into mouth and has narrow copper (?) feed tube projecting upward from center. Handle in shape of a truncated "S" with rounded ends (bottom half truncated) soldered to side of cylinder.
CONDITION: Good; base slightly bent and misshapen; few large pit marks on base and cap; scratches overall and a few small dings; corrosion visible inside feed tube.
